Our Story

Hopeful Horizons Outreach was created in response to a growing need across the Eastern Texas Panhandle—access to quality mental health care that is both available and affordable.

In many of our rural communities, individuals and families face long waitlists, limited providers, or financial barriers that prevent them from getting the help they need.

As local mental health professionals serving these communities, we saw firsthand the gaps in care—and knew something had to change.

Hopeful Horizons Outreach was built to bridge that gap by connecting people to services, supporting local providers, and expanding access to care where it is needed most.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide accessible mental health services, support, and education to underserved individuals and families across the Eastern Texas Panhandle.

We are committed to strengthening our communities by ensuring that no one has to face mental health challenges alone.

What We Do

  • Provide individual and family counseling services for those who are uninsured, underinsured, or unable to afford care

  • Offer free group programs such as grief support, parenting education, and personal development

  • Host community outreach events to increase awareness and reduce stigma around mental health

  • Serve as a resource hub to help individuals connect with the support they need

Next Steps

Whether you are seeking or in need of support, looking to get actively involved, or wanting to be a founding part of what we are building…. Hopeful Horizons Outreach is ready to make a difference.
